Macola or Elliott Sales OLAP Cube:

Shown is a Sales Cube using Three (3) Grids which consist of:
(1) Product Dimension "Sales by Product"

    Shown are for September 2000 compared to 1999 with Budget and Variances.
    shown is 1 of 3 Levels of Aggregations, The level are: Family, Group and Product 

(2) Is a graphical representation of the Product Dimension.

(3) A Customer Dimension "Sales by Customer"
     Shown is 1 of 4 levels of Aggregations, The levels are: Country, Region, Sales Rep and Customer

By expanding the Levels in the various grids you can answer various questions such as:

• Which product lines are not performing when compared to 1999?
• Which Country shows the worst sales performance, for the worst performing product line?
• Within that country, Which Sales Rep is has the worst sales performance?
• And Which customer is under performing?
• And Which Product Item is contributing to this sales performance issue?

This and many more questions can be answered with a few mouse clicks, without having to print
a multitude of reports and without creating custom reports to provide additional information.

This information is Quick and Intuitive!

We can expand this sales cube to include, Customer-Type, Parent Customer "Corporate"
we can include: COGS, Sales Margin, Sales in Month buckets etc...

We can search for a particular Item if required

Macola or Elliott Sales Forecast OLAP Cube:

We can incorporate our Forecast, Budget and Actual Sales Values and compare these values to 
our Country, Customer and Item Dimensions similar to our Sales Presentation Cube.

and answer questions such as:

• Which product families are Under/Lover Forecasted?
• In which country?, which Rep?, which customer?

You get the picture... with our Cube implementation we can answer a variety of question in
a short period of time, without having to run a multitude of reports and having a variety of business meetings. We have the information that we need at our finger tips

I order to create our business intelligence olap cubes we simply need to have our data organized by Groups (i.e. Dimensions) and know what values (i.e. Measures) we are looking for in:

• Sales
• Accounts Receivable (which customer pays late, which collector is under performing etc...)
• Accounts Payable (Vendor A/P Aging)
• General Ledger (compare last year to this year etc...)
• Inventory management (Inventory Turns, Forecast Comparisons etc...)
• Human Resources (Payroll by Department etc...)

Minimum requirements is Microsoft SQL-Server and  Analysis Manger (comes bundled w/SQL-Server).

For our Customers using MACOLA or Elliott (Pervasive/ Btrieve Platform) it will be necessary to obtain the 
Microsoft SQL-Server 5 user license, but once this is installed you can read you existing systems data to present 
meaningful OLAP "Cube" data without converting you existing Accounting System, this is truly the best of both worlds.
